Datasheet Small-sized Class-D Speaker Amplifiers Analog Input Monaural Class-D Speaker Amplifier BD5469GUL General Description BD5469GUL is a monaural Class-D speaker amplifier that has integrated ALC function suitable for mobile phones, portable type electronic devices, etc. LC filter at the speaker output is not needed. The IC forms a monaural speaker amplifier using just 3 external components. ALC, short for Automatic Level Control, is a function that automatically adjusts the level of suppression to avoid distortion (clipping) of the output waveform during excessive input. The time until the suppression of the output level is released is called the release time (or recovery time). This IC has a typical release time of 262ms/1dB which suits music play applications.
