UNISONIC TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD UR1170 Preliminary CMOS IC 800MA LDO REGULATOR - DESCRIPTION The U TC UR1 170 is a t ypical LDO (li near regul ator) with the Features of hig h output voltage accurac y, lo w supply curr ent, lo w ON-resistance, and high ripple rejection. During op eration of the UT C UR1170, th e drop out vo ltage i s very l ow an d the resp onse o f line transi ent and lo ad tran sient ar e very well. Internally, ther e’re man y fun ctions of UT C UR1170 w hich can be seen in the block figur e. There are a volt age reference unit, an error amplifier, resistor-net for voltage setting, a current limit circuit, and a chip enable circuit in each UTC UR1170.
