Description

The COM 2449 is an MaS/LSI device fabricated using SMC's patented COPLAMOS~ technology.

  • o RS-449 compatible inputs and outputs o Maskable Interrupts for RS-449 inputs o Synchronous and Asynchronous Full Duplex or Half Duplex Operations ORe-programmable ROM on-chip baud rate generator o Synchronous Mode Capabilities -Selectable 5 to a-Bit Characters -Selectable 1 or 2 SYNC Characters -Internal or External Character Synchronization - Transparent or Non-Transparent Mode - Transparent mode DLE stuffing (Tx) and detection (Rx) -Automatic SYNC or DLE-SYNC Insertion -SYNC, DLE and DLE-SYN.
