NCT80 Hardware Monitor with I2C Serial Interface The NCT80 is a two−wire serially programmable hardware monitor. It can monitor its on chip temperature via its local sensor, 7 analog inputs and measure the speed of two fans. Each of the measured values are compared with programmable limits and if any channel is outside the programmed limit an interrupt is generated via the INT output pin. It also has a chassis intrusion detection input pin which is latched on an intrusion event. Communication with the NCT80 is accomplished via the I2C interface which is compatible with industry standard protocols. Through this interface the NCT80s internal registers may be accessed.
