OUTLINE
The RP115x is a CMOS-based positive voltage regulator featuring 500 mA/ 1.0 A that provides high ripple rejection, low dropout voltage, high output voltage accuracy, and low supply current. Internally, it consists of a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a resistor-net for output voltage setting, a current limit circuit, a thermal shutdown circuit, and a reverse current protection circuit. The RP115x uses a CMOS process for achieving low supply current, low On Resistance for low dropout voltage (Typ. 0.195 V (DFN1216-8, IOUT = 1.0 A, VSET = 1.2 V)) and CE function for long battery life.
