Overview The SIG100 modulates UART/LIN bytes over the DC powerline (DC-BUS). The device merges both data and power over the powerline, eliminating the need for control and data wires. The SIG100 is an advanced generation of the widely used SIG60 device with backward competability (see ‎2.3) Both devices use a unique multiplex digital signaling technology that overcomes the powerline noisy environment at bitrates up to 115.2Kbit/s. Sleep mode allows low power consumption when the device is not used.
