Description

The XC6408 series is a positive voltage regulator IC manufactured using CMOS process with 28V operation voltage.

The series consists of a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a current limiter, a thermal shutdown circuit and a phase compensation circuit plus a driver transistor.

XC6408 Series 28V Operation Voltage Regulator with Voltage Detector ETR0331-006 ˙GENERAL DESCRIPTION The XC6408 series is a positive voltage regulator IC manufactured using CMOS process with 28V operation voltage. The series consists of a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a current limiter, a thermal shutdown circuit and a phase compensation circuit plus a driver transistor. The output voltage and the detect voltage are user selectable in 0.1V increments. The over current protection circuit and the thermal shutdown circuit are built-in. These two protection circuits will operate when the output current reaches current limit level or the junction temperature reaches temperature limit level.
