SY20816C 2 to 1 Power MUX for USB PD Application General Description The SY20816C is a 2 to 1 power MUX switch for USB PD applications. The SY20816C integrates two low-onresistance power paths: one high-voltage power path and a 5V power path. The high-voltage power path is a bidirectional channel. It can be configured as a sink or source port. Both directions have reverse blocking capability. The SY20816C integrates the CC bypass path. The HOST_CCx is isolated from CONN_CCx in the case of a dead battery or when VCONN is applied. If CONN_CCx input is selected as CC line, CONN_CCx can be bypassed to HOST_CCx using the I2C interface. The SY20816C supports USB PD fast role swap. Once it's detected that the VBUS is lower than 4.
