Characteristics:
This style of relay is a tractive armature, dc current operated unit. It is specifically designed for use in lamp proving of 110VDC/33W triple pole signal lamps. Sensitivity is achieved through a large iron circuit. A slug is also fitted to cover the transit time of its control relay. The contacts are Silver impregnated Graphite to Silver (SIG/Sil). The relay conforms to BRB Spec 940A. The QECR2 is designed for use in lamp proving of 110VDC/12W LED signal lamps.
