The STR6S161HXD is power IC for switching power supplies, incorporating a power MOSFET and a current mode PWM controller IC.

The operation mode is automatically changed, in response to load, to the fixed switching frequency, to the switching frequency control, and to the burst oscillation mode.

  • Improving circuit efficiency (Since the step drive control can keep VRM of secondary rectification diodes low, the circuit efficiency can be improved by low VF).

  • AC Input Voltage Detection Function - Overvoltage Protection Function (HVP) - Brown-In and Brown-Out Function.
  • No Load Power Consumption, PIN < 40 mW.
  • Automatically changed operation mode in response to load conditions - Fixed switching frequency mod.
