RT9490S 5A 1-2 Cell Buck-Boost Switching Battery Charger 1 General Description The RT9490S is a comprehensive solution that integrates a 5A Buck-Boost switch mode battery charger and system power path management device for 1-2 cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. Its low impedance power path optimizes switch-mode operation efficiency, which not only reduces battery charging time and extends battery life during the discharging phase. The inclusion of an I2C serial interface allows for a wide range of charging parameters and system settings to be programmed, making the RT9490S a versatile option for various applications. The recommended junction temperature range is −40C to 130C, and the ambient temperature range is −40C to 85C.
