The RFMD Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver is a plug-n-play module designed for OEM use.

The 12-parallel-channel GPS receiver works in a wide variety of end products including: marine navigation, telematics, automotive navigation, and asset tracking.

RF8000 14 Typical Applications • Automotive Navigation • Asset Tracking • Fleet Management • Telematics • Marine Navigation GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM RECEIVER Product Description The RFMD Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver is a plug-n-play module designed for OEM use. The 12-parallel-channel GPS receiver works in a wide variety of end products including: marine navigation, telematics, automotive navigation, and asset tracking. The GPS receiver processes signals from all the visible GPS satellites broadcasting RF navigation information. “All-in-view” satellite tracking produces highly accurate, smoothed navigation data. The data is relatively immune to the position jumps that occur when fewer satellites are monitored.
