Buck Converter High-Efficiency, Synchronous 4 A, 6 A, 2 MHz NCP1594A, NCP1594B The NCP1594 is a high−output−current synchronous PWM converter that integrates two N−channel Power MOSFETs. The NCP1594 utilizes externally compensated voltage mode control to provide good transient response, ease of implementation, and excellent loop stability. It regulates input voltages from 2.9 V to 6.0 V down to an output voltage as low as 0.6 V and is able to supply up to 4.0 A of load current (NCP1594A). Please contact factory for NCP1594B which supports 6.0 A load current. The NCP1594 includes an internal soft−start to limit inrush current. Other features include cycle−by−cycle current limit, 92% max duty cycle, short−circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. Features • Wide Input Voltage Range from 2.
