Optional external reference The LX1800 bridges the analog and digital world. The analog interface contains and eight bit ADC and 8 bit DAC and the digital interface is a serial data SMBus interface. The LX1800 works well in a feedback control system such as an LCD backlight system where the analog output of an ambient light sensor such as the LX1972 can be digiti.
