MPQ4462-AEC1 3.5A, 4MHz, 36V, Step-Down Converter AEC-Q100 Qualified DESCRIPTION The MPQ4462 is a high-frequency, step-down, switching regulator with an integrated, high-side, high-voltage, power MOSFET. It provides a 3.5A output with current-mode control for fast loop response and easy compensation. The wide 3.8V-to-36V input range accommodates a variety of step-down applications, including those in an automotive input environment. A 120µA operational quiescent current allows for battery-powered applications. Switching-frequency scaling allows for high power-conversion efficiency over a wide load range by scaling down the switching frequency at light loads to reduce the switching and gate driving losses.
