General Description
The MPQ2179A is a monolithic, step-down, switch-mode converter with integrated internal power MOSFETs.
It can achieve up to 3A of output current (IOUT) across a 2.5V to 6V input voltage (VIN) range, with excellent load and line regulation.
Key Features
- include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, output over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown. The MPQ2179A requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and is available in a compact QFN-8 (1.5mmx2mm) package.
