Optimized for an electronic ballast, the FAN7532 requires a minimum board area and reduces component counts. The FAN7532 is intended to drive two power MOSFETs in the classical half-bridge topology with all the features needed to properly drive and control a fluorescent lamp. The FAN7532 has many comprehensive protection features that work through filament failure, failure of a lamp to strike, and automatic restarts.
