General Description

The A5941 three-phase motor driver incorporates sinusoidal drive to minimize audible noise and vibration for mediumpower fans.

A sinusoidal voltage profile is applied to the windings of the motor at startup to quietly start and gradually ramp up the motor to the desired speed.

The voltage profile is set to a default value that will operate for a wide range of motor characteristics.
