General Description

The A17501 is a single IC solution designed for rotational position sensing of a ring magnet target found in automotive and industrial electric motor applications (often with specific application and safety requirements).

Three Hall elements are incorporated to create two independent differential channels.

These inputs are processed by digital circuits and robust algorithms designed to eliminate the detrimental effects of magnetic and system offsets, and to address false output transitions caused by target vibrations in electric motors at startup and low speed operation.
