uP9646 Driver Integrated High Current 30V Power Stage Module General Description The uP9646 is a driver integrated 30V power stage module for multi-phase synchronous buck DC-DC converter in desktop and notebook applications. The device is operated with 5V input for integrated MOSFET driver, and its MOSFETs are fully optimized to deliver up to 50A output current with high conversion efficiency for CPU, GPU and DDR memory power supplies. This part features Intel® PS4 mode support, thermal warning, over current protection, and zero current detection functions. The thermal warning output is used by system to secure safety operation. The over current protection function of the device further enhances protection for the converter.
