TCAL6408, SMBus I/O Expander

The TCAL6408 device provides general purpose parallel input/output (I/O) expansion for the two-line bidirectional I2C bus (or SMBus) protocol.

The device can operate with a power supply voltage ranging from 1.08V to 3.6V on the I2C bus side (VCCI) and a power supply voltage ranging from 1.08V to 3.

TCAL6408 Features

* Operating power-supply voltage range of 1.08V to 3.6V

* Allows bidirectional voltage-level translation and GPIO expansion between 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V I2C bus and p-ports

* Low standby current consumption of 1µA typical at 1.8V

* 1MHz fast mode plus I2C bus
