EM8400, (EM8400 / EM8401) MPEG-2 Decoder

The EM8400 is a single-chip MPEG audio/video decoder that supports DVDVideo, SVCD, VCD 1.x, VCD 2.0, CD-DA and CD-ROM media formats, with MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 MP@ML video decoding.

Audio decoding support includes Dolby® Digital, MPEG-1 Layers 1 and 2 and 16-bit linear PCM.
