Overview
KEMET's PEH169 Series is a long-life electrolytic capacitor with outstanding reliability and electrical performance. The device has a polarized all-welded design, heavy duty screw terminals, extended cathode construction, safety vent, and plastic insulation. The PEH169 Series winding is housed in a cylindrical aluminum can with a reinforced molded lid incorporating a safety vent. The sealing system is designed for electrolyte leakage-free operation and a very low gasdiffusion rate of electrolyte. Mechanical contact between the winding and case allows excellent heat transfer from the winding to the ambient, which means cooler operation.
