General Information
Reliability
The failure rate () and mean time between failures
(MTBF= 1/) is calculated at max output power and an
operating ambient temperature (TA) of +40°C. Flex Power
uses Telcordia SR-332 Issue 3 Method 1 to calculate the
mean steady-state failure rate and standard deviation ().
Telcordia SR-332 Issue 4 also provides techniques to
estimate the upper confidence levels of failure rates based
on the mean and standard deviation.

MTBF (mean value) for the PKU4611A series = 5.2 Mh.
MTBF at 90% confidence level = 4.6 Mh
