3 Description
The UC184x A-SP family of control ICs is a pin-for-pin patible improved version of the UC184x family. Providing the necessary characteristics to control current-mode switched-mode power supplies, this device has improved features
. Start-up current is specified to be less than 0.5 m A and oscillator discharge is trimmed to 8.3 m A. During UVLO, the output stage can sink at least 10 m A at less than 1.2 V for VCC over 5 V.

(1) The LDR improved die is only available in the UC1843A-SP (orderable as 5962-8670409VPA). Contact factory to request an LDR-improved version of the UC1842A-SP or UC1844ASP.
(2) Radiation tolerance is a typical value based upon initial device qualification with dose rate = 10 mrad(Si)/s. Radiation lot acceptance testing is available
