IL300 Overview
The IL300 linear optocoupler consists of an AlGaAs infrared emitter irradiating an output PIN photodiode and a feedback photodiode. The feedback photodiode captures a percentage of the emitter’s flux and generates a control signal (IP1) that can be used to keep the emitter output constant by adjusting the emitter forward current. This pensates for the emitter’s non-linear, time, and temperature characteristics.
