The UM207/208/211/213 are enhanced transceivers intended for use in RS-232 and V.28 serial communication and are particularly suited for those applications where ±12V is not available.

These devices feature very low power consumption and +5V single supply operation making them ideal for space-constrained applications. With integrated charge pump circuitry and small 0.1µF charge pump capacitors, these devices can fully meet RS-232 voltage levels. A slow rate limited transmitter circuit improves data integrity.
