The TCS3471 family of devices provides red, green, blue, and clear light sensing (RGBC) that detects light intensity under a variety of lighting conditions and through a variety of attenuation materials.

Resolution Up to 16 Bits.
Very High Sensitivity.
Ideally Suited for Operation Behind Dark Glass.
Up to 1,000,000:1 Dynamic Range D Low Power Wait State.
65 mA Typical Current.
Wait Timer is Programmable from 2.4 ms to > 7 Seconds D I2C Interface Compatible.
Up to 400 kHz (I2C Fast Mode) D Dedicated Inter.
