ST Sitronix ST7025 96 x 9 Dots Segment-type LCD Controller/Driver 1. INTRODUCTION ST7025 is a LCD driver & controller LSI for graphic dot-matrix liquid crystal display systems. It contains 96 segment and 9 common driver circuits. ST7025 can be connected directly to a microprocessor with 3-Line serial peripheral interface (3-SPI) or I2C compatible interface. Display data written by MPU is stored in an on-chip Display Data RAM (DDRAM) of 96 x 9 bits. ST7025 performs Display Data RAM write-operation without external clock to minimize power consumption. In addition, the built-in LED backlight control circuit can setup an LED backlight system with minimal components if necessary. 2.
