® TDA1905 5W AUDIO AMPLIFIER WITH MUTING DESCRIPTION The TDA1905 is a monolithic integrated circuit in POWERDIP package, intended for use as low fre- quency power amplifier in a wide range of applica- tions in radio and TV sets: ) – muting facility t(s – protection against chip over temperature c – very low noise u – high supply voltage rejection d – low "switch-on" noise ro – voltage range 4V to 30V P The TDA 1905 is assembled in a new plastic packte age, the POWERDIP, that offers the same assembly le ease, space and cost saving of a normal dual in-line package but with a power dissipation of up to 6W and so a thermal resistance of 15°C/W (junction to pins).
