In addition, the PIN diodes of f er good p o wer-handling capabilities and are less sensitive to electrostatic discharge pro b lems. These f eatures are impo r tant con side r ations in base station applications where the effects of antennarelated RF s witching and indirect lightning-inducedv oltage spi k es are present.
