Overview
- active supply mode: - The chip is supplied by an external 3V power supply source (e.g. battery).
- passive supply mode: - The chip is harvesting energy from the external NFC RF field. No additional external supply source is required. Of course, operation of the chip requires the presence of the NFC field in this use case. The chip can charge external capacitors, in order to store harvested energy. External storing capacitors can be used to store the required amount of energy to initiate an actuation action (e.g. to drive a motor). Main product features are:
