MC117
Overview
- The MC117 is a very high stability coil based on the dimensions of the MC120 moulded coil, although being taller it is designed for a space wound coil, with an optional tap encapsulated within the moulding of the coil assembly.
- Adjustment is possible from either end.
- The MC117 is available with an optional screening can (although some of the Q potential is lost when used in conjunction with a screening can assembly).
- Like all TOKO moulded coils, the MC117 is protected against the effects of vibration and thermal cycling, with the core being held in such a way as to minimize the dangers of fracture during adjustment when compared to usual types of construction.
- The MC117 series, intended for high stability applications requiring optimum Q characteristics at VHF, is space wound on a hexagonal core.
