iW1900 Low BOM Count, 6W Non-Isolated Buck Converter Integrates High-Voltage Power BJT and Feedback Diode 1 Description The iW1900 non-isolated buck converter integrates a high-voltage BJT power switch along with a unique control architecture to simplify the overall circuit design and reduce cost. The design uses Dialog’s unique multi-mode DCM peak current control technology to provide high efficiency over a broad load range, ideal for home appliance applications and low-power consumption standby power supplies. The iW1900’s novel design approach enables a reduced BOM cost by integrating external components typically required for this type of non-isolated high voltage buck converter, including the internal low-voltage power supply circuit and high voltage start-up and feedback components.
