The ALM1108 is an ultra-small programmable μASIC featuring LUTs, logic macrocells, timers, oscillators, and more.

Each macrocell within the ALM1108 contains multiple, configurable settings and initial states for maximum flexibility.

  • 1.71 V to 3.60 V Supply; Operating Temperature Range: 0°C to 85°C.
  • 2.10V to 3.60 V Supply; Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to 85°C.
  • Six Digital Inputs/Outputs.
  • One Digital Input.
  • Five Digital Inputs/Outputs.
  • Two Combinatorial 2-bit Look Up Tables (LUTs).
  • Nine Multifunctional Macrocell.
  • Two Selectable D Flip-Flop (DFF) / Latches or 2-bit LUTs.
  • Four Selectable D Flip-Flop / Latches.

Description The ALM1108 is an ultra-small programmable μASIC featuring LUTs, logic macrocells, timers, oscillators, and more. Each macrocell within the ALM1108 contains multiple, configurable settings and initial states for maximum flexibility. The ALM1108’s macrocells are connected via hardware-defined matrix connections, not abstracted firmware. This enables asynchronous design at low power as well as more reliable operations compared to microcontrollers. Unlike a fixed ASIC, the timing and event sequences can be updated with a programming software change. The ALM1108’s functional reliability is enhanced by CRC-8 and Continuous Register Verification (CRV).
