- The D ¯ ¯¯ O ¯¯ N ¯¯ E ¯ pin is an open-drain indicator of when the designated output voltage is reached
- The A8438 can be used with two Alkaline/NiMH/ NiCAD or one single-cell Li+ battery connected to the transformer primary
